Chapter 26 of 'TOMORROW'

CHRISTMAS EVE 2007....

It's 7AM and I've received the confirmation email from Bret that Chapter 26 is up. I finished it up at 1230 this AM (my two pugs got me up half hour ago, thank God for coffee!).

This is my Christmas gift to the group and to everyone else who reads 'TOMORROW'. I worked like crazy the last few days including re-edits (and yes, I found a few typos still) but I worked like crazy yesterday writing the last 32 pages.

Why so much at the last minute?

I'm not a procrastinator; it just took a while to get everything in place with what was happening with the guys. Plus, I didn't want Rex and Billy's intimate scenes to sound like something like a bad 80's porno or for that matter sound like I'm writing a porn story. Mind you, we say things between our partners, lovers or 'tricks' (LOL) that can be kinky. Rex and Billy have their kinky sides that came out. Is that part of me? I'll plead the 5th on this one, ;-) !!!

I hesitate to write things as I would really see intimacy because I don't want to be scene as some sort of 'porn' writer that you get on Nifty at times. I want to have that level of sex and show who we are as Gay men and that we all have different sexual tastes. I hope I'm achieving it.

Plus, I was making 'Toll House' cookies at the same time, LOL. I haven't done any real cooking this Christmas with the exception of making Gumbo for a meeting the other day and my homemade Limoncello as gifts (that's the easy part as it just sits for 2 months).

Well, I've done it and finished the chapter. And for those of you who are wondering, "No, this isn't the final chapter." I still have a lot more from the 'boys'. They have quite a few stories to tell and their lives to live before saying 'Goodbye'.

I am taking the next couple of weeks off though. I may write, I may not... I'm writing/editing (with the help of my gratious and patient editor) three stories at once while dealing with other things (private wink to those who know).

Now.... to quote Clement Moore...

I heard him exclaim as he soared out of sight
Merry Christmas to all; and to all a goodnight...

May the Peace, Joy and Love of the Holiday settle itself upon you and your loved ones;
May the New Year bring you every desire...
